The ALX ecosystem connects protocol, indexing infrastructure, economic coordination, applications, integrations, and community programs.
Ecosystem Layers
1. Protocol
ALX Protocol defines canonical Block structure, deterministic identity, declared parent relationships, and conformance rules. Independent implementations create and verify Blocks using the public specification.
2. Network
XNDR Network indexes conforming Blocks from configured sources and organizes declared relationships into searchable, source-scoped Block Graphs.
The Block Explorer and REST API expose indexed Blocks, observations, and relationships.
XNDR Network reports source observations. XNDR Network does not redefine Block identity, conformance, authorship, ownership, semantic truth, or legal status.
3. Economic
The XNDR token pays contribution rewards, funds the treasury and ecosystem growth programs, and carries governance votes as governance phases open.
4. Applications
Applications use ALX Blocks and XNDR Network services for discovery, verification, analysis, provenance, and integration workflows.
5. Programs and Community
Grants, integrations, research, education, and community programs support development, adoption, and participation.
Participants
- Developers build applications, integrations, client libraries, and REST API infrastructure.
- Organizations integrate ALX Blocks into products, systems, and workflows.
- Infrastructure providers operate indexes, storage, availability, and supporting services.
- Researchers work on provenance, interoperability, security, distributed systems, and Block Graph applications.
