Developer Guide
The XNDR Network REST API is a read-only interface over indexed ALX Blocks.
Choose an Interface
| Block Explorer | REST API | |
|---|---|---|
| Needs | A browser and a complete blockHash or contentHash. | A server-side HTTP client. An operator-issued key is optional. |
| Returns | The Block's identifiers, source observations, and relationships, navigable by clicking. | JSON from nine read-only GET routes under /api/v1, plus a tenth serving the OpenAPI 3.1 document. |
| Use for | Manual lookup, inspecting one Block, and following lineage without writing code. | Scripts, services, and any integration that reads indexed Blocks on a schedule. |
Start Integrating with XNDR Network
- Make a First Request. Getting Started sends one
curlrequest for a Block hash. - Read the Contract. API Overview defines routes, scope, authentication, rate tiers, and errors.
- Build a Workflow. Integrate with XNDR Network covers discovery, lineage, and verification; the ALX Block Model explains canonical fields.
For every integration, preserve source scope and response boundaries. For code to adapt, see Reference Implementations.
Developer Access
Anonymous requests need no credentials. An XNDR Network operator issues keys for the higher tier; see Authentication.
